Hidesign x Disney

You all know the rage! Hidesign collaborated with none other than Disney India to design beautiful collection inspired by the movie. If you haven’t already watched the movie, it’s not one you want to miss. I read the story years ago (Hi5 millennials *too cool*) and the impact of the movie was not washed down at all! The story is of a beautiful girl named Belle, who is taken and held hostage by the Beast; despite her fears of his looks, she grows to like him immensely and sees the beautiful person that he is inside, overlooking his unconventional looks. And what’s not to love about Emma Watson in a beautiful yellow gown *wowie*
About Hidesign and Disney India! The bags are so quaint and chic, the Hidesign team has inculcated the flower motif, typical to the story, in the entire range. The collection is Limited Edition and it denotes the enchantment and undying love from the story. My favourite is the red tonal backpack that has the red flower motif on the body in suede, I love the analogous colour play and the texture variation. The contrast in the texture juxtaposed with the play on tones of red, highlights the grandeur of the story and of the movie. IN other words, the bag is what the story is: bold, beautiful & unforgettable.
If you explore the website http://www.hidesign.com, do read on the Limited Edition. I loved what the Founder & President, Dilip Kapur said about the collection “Disney has always inspired the creation of designs that are not only beautiful but also have an emotional connect with our customers. Taking this thought ahead, we are thrilled to bring a limited edition Enchanted Collection to relive Disney’s classic story”.
Hidesign has constructed leather applique, embossed leather, patchwork and canvas bags! For a story with multiple aspects, not just romantic love, Hidesign has captured essence perfectly and of course, beautifully. Oh! It’s Limited Edition so get shopping!
Beautiful word count: 7. Hey that’s not bad, I was expecting it to be worse #SorryNotSorry

Lurap x AB

Hey Lovelies,

Hope you’ve all been doing great. This post is in collaboration with Lurap ❤

From a world of standardisation, the fashion industry has come a long way and gone a few steps back. I’m talking about personalization in our style. Sure, when we wear the same sweater as someone, the look could be different (depending on the styling) but wouldn’t It be better to have your own clothes, tailored to you, with no other copies? Now is the time you should visit http://www.lurap.com and explore their one-of- a-kind website. Lurap presents some fabulous options in gorgeous plus size women dresses and a lot more for petite women.

The service they are providing is mighty unique. You go to any category, choose the piece you like and get ready to customize it to your style. Feel free to change the hemline, the sleeves, and the neckline even. It was great to have our lehenga-choli fitted and tailored (I always dread those visits to the tailor argh!) but to have my dresses fitted exactly to my body type? That’s golden.

In a crazy world of being bombarded almost daily with new innovations, Lurap has not only innovated, but broken it down beautifully. Do explore the website and you’ll know what I mean; the way it works is clearly defined and extremely helpful with relevant links at each step. Sure, there are a lot of cool websites with amazing graphics but what I love is that I get fashion and EASY shopping all under one roof, not to mention the added benefit of having my own customized dress.

Admyrin x AB

The festivities came with a hella crazy bang this year! Earlier it was mostly about the one Diwali day where our parents used to dress us up in lehengas, we would stuff our faces with kaju barfi and engage in the firecracker session till late hours with our cousins. But of course today it has become about being with your family that you gained along the way as well (and card parties Teehee). I’m talking about friends by the way and this year I was bombarded with Diwali parties and all sorts of ethnic-themed gatherings. So what’s a girl to do about keeping the theme in mind!? ADMYRIN!
Your one-stop shop for all festivities and shaadi season attires, Admyrin is one of my favourite e-tailing sites to shop from (especially this time of the year *SAVIOUR!*).
The site has impeccable collection of gorgeous embroidered lehengas to embellished salwar suits to printed sarees. Not to mention, lace, zari, patch work, celebrity-inspired and lots more.
I wanted to stick to a more natural and soft palette so I went with a beautiful lemon & eggplant purple combination for one look.  Another one I opted for was, a washed-out grey is blue with matt gold work. My third look was an anarkali in pista green shade with minimal work on it, just the way I like it. I kept the look very classy with just a pair of drop earrings or jhumkas, some bangles and a purple or red lipper. The fourth and fifth looks are casual yet comfortable. Comment and let me know which look you loved the most!
Design aside, the fabric, the fit and the work on all my ensembles was beyond expectation. Admyrin is definitely a keeper.

Bewakoof x AB

Hey Lovelies,

Hope you’ve all been doing great. This post is in collaboration with Bewakoof ❤

If anyone is keeping track, jogger pants are best friends right now. I got a pair from Bewafook and I am head over heels in love with them. I never explored athleisure clothes much before, I can’t think of a reason why…guess I was a bewakoof. See what I did there eh? (please don’t mock me!) And what better brand than Bewakoof.

Think comfort. Think athletic wear. Think leisure wear. Think Bewakoof! Their collection is just too good to miss, they have everything from crop tops to dresses, to jeans, pyjamas and of course joggers! And joggers are all the rage right now à la Kylie Jenner. In addition to that, the men’s section is as tempting as women’s with their Batman, Superman collection, and glow in the dark options too.

What I wore from Bewakoof was a bright red jersey top and for a high contrast, blue joggers. Paired this look with white sneakers, Lenin sunglasses and a black backpack. I was not only comfortable, but more relaxed throughout the day as my clothes weren’t binding at all. Thanks to Bewakoof’s quirky style. So head over to their site and explore their clothes and accessories for uber-comfort and effortless style.

Layer up.

Layering. The most flattering way to dress up (or down!), no matter what the season or time of day. As part of my transformational looks guide, I put together another look for you guys! My dear Instagrammers , you must have already seen me posing on the streets in a photo haha where I mentioned pinafore dresses!

Pinafore dresses are those you can layer on a shirt or a blouse, or in my case, a sporty bralette. A lot of people might disagree but grey is not an easy colour to work with. It’s basic, that’s why I love it and decided to go with a grey dress.

My favourite lingerie e-tailing site, Pretty Secrets has an amazing collection of basic lingerie to eclectic pieces to loungewear even. I layered the dress over a black basic bralette and finished it off with black block-heeled booties. Hair and make-up was basic as I wanted a minimal look.

As for the transformational aspect, to give this outfit a little layered twist, I added a boxy denim shirt. This look reminds me of the 80s and gives it a little ‘back-to- school’ appeal. Which I love!

Don’t be afraid to pull out old shirts that you discarded at the back of your closet (we all have a ‘back of the closet’ section haha) and layer those with any simple dresses or even two-piece outfits. Use the layering technique and you’ll be able to fiercely walk into the Fall season. Happy styling! ❤

Plimsolls and Boots

Hello Everyone,

Hope you’ve all been doing great. It’s October! Which means the scorching heat is on its way to the exit, thank god! Other than the festivities, I love that this month enables one to layer up comfortably and wear body hugging clothes without a moment’s hesitation. So with that excitement in mind, I put a look together that can transform from day to night effortlessly with just a few changes.

I stuck with basics for this one and opted for a pair of washed out skinny jeans and a black tank top. Simple silhouettes are appropriate for any occasion and you can dress it up for fancy event or dress it down for a simple day to your college or workplace.

Detailing is key! I added a black skinny belt and made a knot in the traditional way to give it an edge that October celebrates. Chokers are THE statement accessory!! So of course I wore a lace one along with a tie-up piece ( I made :P). This ensemble needed the perfect end with patent leather black booties.

The same outfit can be made more ‘back-to- school’ style. To achieve a more casual 90’s look, I changed to a pair of Plimsolls. The over-sized trend might never leave us (love! ❤ ) and so, I added an over-sized black ‘n’ white shrug over the tank top.

In addition to that, I decided to add a resort touch with a wide-brimmed white hat! This baby not only protects my face from the sun, but brings such a happy & pretty addition to the look. Hence, making this outfit easily transform from day to night.
